Collection includes: county voting statistics, 1960,1964, prepared by students of Dr. Maybee's History 404 class; War Loan Committee correspondence, bills, and receipts, 1944; Controller papers, 1971; Fractional School District No. 1 (Coe and Lincoln townships) vote to attach land, 1869; miscellaneous Court of the Justice of the Peace case records, 1881-1923; documents of Feb. 19 and May 28, 1934, covering the transfer of the former Mount Pleasant Indian School to the State of Michigan, (copies); various land grants and deeds, 1857-1938; and Fred. W. Vowles milk route books and photograph of Fred, his horse and wagon, undated (ca. early 1900s); and Isabella County census (book galley copy), 1860.

Rolland Harper Maybee was born on January 6, 1901 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Harper C. Maybee (1876-1954) and Blanche Maybee (1879-1970). Maybee had three brothers: Allen, Harper Jr., and Eugene Maybee. Rolland attended high school in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
